Brand new live album from Joe Hisaishi containing the repertoire "The End of the World" composed by Hisaishi and "The Desert Music" by Steve Reich. It features the Futures Orchestra Classics and The Philharmonic Chorus of Tokyo and was recorded at Suntory Hall, Tokyo, on 31st July 2024.

Joe started the “JOE HISAISHI FUTURE ORCHESTRA CLASSICS” series of concerts to showcase works he loved from a conductor’s perspective, forming a new orchestra “Future Orchestra Classics”. For “Vol.1” in July 2019, he conducted a new interpretation of Beethoven’s Symphonies No. 5 and 7 to a huge response. Due to this success, Joe continued the series, and is now up to Vol. 7 which showcases Steve Reich’s “Desert Music,” as well as his own ’The End Of The World’.
